Meet Eve iulo
Hello Palate welcomes our new intern, Eve Iulo. Eve will research and write articles for her generational health concerns, test recipes, client services, and marketing while sharing her passion for nutrition, natural sciences, and desire to support women’s health initiatives. She is a bright star, and I am excited to have her join me.
Eve is a college student and feminist passionate about nutrition and the natural sciences. Through her studies and experiences, she has recognized the systemic issues of gender biases in STEM and inequities in treatment and healthcare. Eve intends to aid in alleviating such prejudice by becoming a science writer specializing in the critical sphere of women's health, where she will emphasize the value of food as medicine.
Nurturing her desires in academia, Eve will pursue a double major in Women's Studies and Health related communication. Outside the classroom, Eve is the proud founder of her organization, Girls Supporting Girls. Her utmost objective has been to unite local women and girls to combat the universal detriments of anti-feminist rhetoric, period poverty, and women's health issues. When not immersed in her studies, Eve is an avid reader and lover of the culinary arts and can often be found by the gym or the sea.
